This is a track played in the forty-sixth episode of Ninjago, "Ghost Story". The piece, also titled "Ghost Story", is played during the scene where Sensei Wu tells the Ninja about the origins of his first pupil, Morro, who he initially thought was destined to be the Green Ninja.
The main reason I uploaded this music is because I find it to be incredibly powerful. It starts off with a very eerie tone, before transitioning into Morro's theme - which appears throughout the rest of the piece. The theme is played with a violin, and not only is it so intense in this track - but this rendition of it starts off more hopeful, and not as sinister and treacherous as it is when played in other episodes in this season. Notice the change in the sound of the violins before and after the second eerie segment of the piece, which ends at around 1:43. The first half is hopeful, symbolizing Morro's rise to becoming the Green Ninja, while the second half is treacherous and ambitious, with greater intensity, as Morro grows increasingly obsessed with becoming the Green Ninja and takes a more dangerous path to do so. Also notice Morro's secondary theme, which is first played at 1:57. It seems to embody Morro's darker side, and is truly completed with a dark, solemn variant of his theme, which concludes the piece. This is perhaps the first Ninjago track I've uploaded that doesn't focus on action cues - there's a brief action segment towards the end but otherwise, it's all centered around Morro's theme, and to me it sounds absolutely phenomenal and beautiful.
