At long last, after four months of waiting, I'm proud to finally present the third part of the sequel to my 2014 live-action Ninjago film - "Ninjago: Rise of the Great Devourer"! It has been an incredibly long journey to get this out - it feels strange considering there's been so much time since Part 2 was released back in September. Nevertheless, the film continues with its long-awaited third part. This is also our first video of 2016!
Originally set for release back in October of 2015, major events that came up during that time completely tore my schedule and activities apart. Amongst the many things that happened - iMovie, the editing program I was using before I upgraded to Final Cut Pro, deleted all of my projects and footage following a major update. Almost all of my projects were lost, and among them was the second part of "Rise of the Great Devourer" - which I was already a quarter of the way into editing. At the time, for many reasons, I was rendered distraught and didn't edit for a time - hence why the only major video you've seen in the last few months was the third part of "Jurassic Shark III", which was released at the end of November and was the only major project I had pulled out of iMovie's demise. "Rise of the Great Devourer" went unaired and unedited for several months. I actually finished the majority of filming back at the end of October, with the last major day of filming taking place on Thanksgiving.
At the end of December, I decided that I would officially jump back into editing once the new year began, and sure enough - on January 4, I dove into starting over editing on Part 3. Within a week, I managed to edit a total of over 2,400 videos, editing anywhere from 200 to over 300 videos a night. On January 23, I finished the last of the film's major editing with its special and sound effects, and on January 24 editing wrapped entirely after I finished adding the music.
So here's the plan for the next couple of months: to start off, there's a lot going on, much of which many people don't know about yet. The fourth part of "Rise of the Great Devourer" is set to be released sometime in February, depending on how fast editing goes, and it will be followed by the fourth part of "Jurassic Shark III". Then, in the region of March-April, the fifth and final parts of "Rise of the Great Devourer" and "Jurassic Shark III" (I'm not sure which will come first) will be released.
That's really all I have to say for now. There's a comment in the description providing some notes and details about this part of the film, so if you haven't seen that yet you might want to check it out - but beware of spoilers!

Part 3 Premise: The Ninja embark on a perilous journey to Torchfire Mountain in a race against Lord Garmadon and his army of Serpentine and Stone Warriors, in a desperate mission to find and secure the four silver Fangblades and prevent the Final Hour from commencing. However, out of their element and facing a slew of new enemies - the odds are against the Masters of Spinjitzu and their allies.
