Nils Frahm - The Dane
“The Dane” first appeared on Encores 1 and later as part of All Encores, the companion project to Nils Frahm’s acclaimed album All Melody. Originally conceived as one of many sketches around that album, it grew into a live favourite and a beautiful example of Frahm’s intimate, introspective writing for solo piano.

*Nils Frahm is a German musician, composer, and record producer based in Berlin. He is known for combining classical and electronic music and for an unconventional approach to the piano in which he mixes a grand piano, upright piano, Roland Juno-60, Rhodes piano, drum machines, and Moog Taurus.

One of the compositions I uploaded yesterday. I heard something very folkloric in it, and I couldnt resist slightly modifying the original. So here we go: North Way is a solo piano composition by Norwegian composer and pianist Otto A. Totland. It is featured on his debut album, Pinô, released on January 31, 2014. The piece exemplifies Totlands minimalist and emotive style, characterized by delicate melodies and intimate atmospheres. The album was recorded on Nils Frahms piano, capturing a warm and nuanced sound.
**Otto Andreas Totland (born in Porsgrunn, Norway 1979) is a Norwegian self-taught pianist and electronic musician also performing under the Nest moniker or as half of the Deaf Center electronic duo with Erik K Skodvin.
