Aphex Twin – Nanou2
Nanou2 is a composition by Aphex Twin from his 2001 double album Drukqs, released on Warp Records.
The album alternates between meticulously programmed electronic tracks - drawing on IDM, breakbeat, and drum & bass—and intimate pieces for prepared and computer-controlled piano. Nanou2 is one of its most beautiful and understated moments.
The piece was also featured in Beautiful Boy (2018), directed by Felix van Groeningen.
🎧 About the composer
Aphex Twin (Richard David James, born 1971) is an Irish-born British musician, composer, and producer. Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in contemporary electronic music, his work spans ambient, techno, IDM, jungle, and experimental electronic music, while frequently blurring the boundaries between electronic composition and acoustic instrumentation.
The video was filmed at Lake Annecy, France, during my summer vacation.
📍 About Lake Annecy
Lake Annecy is one of France's most beautiful alpine lakes, located in the Haute-Savoie region. Formed by glacial activity around 18,000 years ago, it is renowned for its exceptionally clear water and dramatic mountain scenery.
At approximately 14 km (9 miles) long and 3 km (2 miles) wide, it is France's third-largest natural lake. The lake is fed by several mountain streams and underground springs, contributing to its remarkable water quality.

![Otto A. Totland - North Way [reworked] / @coversart
One of the compositions I uploaded yesterday. I heard something very folkloric in it, and I couldnt resist slightly modifying the original. So here we go: North Way is a solo piano composition by Norwegian composer and pianist Otto A. Totland. It is featured on his debut album, Pinô, released on January 31, 2014. The piece exemplifies Totlands minimalist and emotive style, characterized by delicate melodies and intimate atmospheres. The album was recorded on Nils Frahms piano, capturing a warm and nuanced sound.
**Otto Andreas Totland (born in Porsgrunn, Norway 1979) is a Norwegian self-taught pianist and electronic musician also performing under the Nest moniker or as half of the Deaf Center electronic duo with Erik K Skodvin.
