We have uploaded our first early preview APK of a WIP toon rendering package for Unity URP, NiloToonURP, today.
You can preview the render result on your android phone by downloading the APK using this link: drive.google.com/file/d/1bPm2qVqzGELJUcVFbZRIsWyF2FVfvCDl/view?usp=sharing

We decided to release this early preview APK today, to find out:
1.Can it runs on every android device correctly? (don't care fps)
2.Looks good enough on a mobile phone screen?
3.Can it run fast enough? (more than 30 fps?)

- Layer front = Unity editors game window playing(with a pure green background)
- Layer back = Google chromes youtube video playing
Booth layers are composited in Shoost in real time, also applied Shoosts diffusion filter.

video will switch between Unitys default shader and custom rendering.
custom rendering =
char shader:
-phong tessellation to smooth polygon
-Inverted Hull second pass outline(smooth normal looks better)
-shadow mapping, shadow color controlled by ramp texture
-cel shading, shadow color controlled by ramp texture
extra post process:
-low threshold & intensity, wide blur bloom(simulate anime postprocess)
-TAA(blurry is an advantage if NPR)
-per object motion blur to hide face animation transition
-color grading(only suppressing bright color, keeping most LDR color untouched. keep saturation high)
