This has been something I've wanted to play for a long time. I want to say I did actually try it back in 2019, but I'm not entirely sure. Either way, it seemed to me that people that beat it didn't enjoy it more often than not, so I just kept waiting on it. Playing it nowadays, it wasn't great to start out with learning the drop, but it got so much better after that. There was rarely a dull moment I had with the level once I could start doing runs that covered half of it. Even the predrop, flawed as it may be, remained somewhat satisfying to play. I also really enjoy this level visually and thematically as well- one of my favorites of its time for sure. All of that being said, there are still some issues. I really took issue with the level's balancing. Most of the level would be fine as is, but the ball section in the 20s, as well as the 40s buildup, are much harder than the rest of the level. The former did at least get mostly better, as before too long the only bit there that really killed me much was the cube jump at 27%, but the amount of 40s deaths I had were obnoxious. If not for that being such an issue, I would've found the level near perfect, at least discounting the 2.2 issues that exist, of which there are several. The worst instance of that by far are the two blue orbs at 81%. It is absurdly common that when hitting them that I would jump through the slope blocks and die on the other side, and there wasn't much I could do to help with that, making it by far the worst chokepoint in the level. There were also times in the ufo part at 37% that the slopes would launch me into the mini spike there, but that was very rare. So, not a perfect playing experience by any means, but I did enjoy my time with this, and find it to be one of the more special levels of its time. Definitely worth playing if you're capable of completing it quickly.
