Nexuiz, or Nexuiz Classic as it is now known is a free, open-source arena shooter in similar vein as Quake III and Unreal Tournament. They did later release an upgraded Steam version of the game for $9.99, but you can get the classic version by following the download link here: alientrap.com/games/nexuiz

Super fun game, and also super free at the same time.
