When I learned hand drill 12 years ago, I practiced a lot. Sometimes, I spun up 10 embers in one day. Rather than gather all those materials to build so many natural tinder bundles, I just used newspaper for my tinder bundles.
Let me show you how I fashioned them; and, then we’ll try them out with the embers from bow drill, fire roll, char cloth, and charred punk wood.
