Calipers are often used in metalworking, but most standard calipers max out at just 6” and are graduated to the thousandth of an inch. BigCal combines machinist-level accuracy and furniture-sized scale in a caliper designed for woodworking.

We make BigCal in two sizes. The larger caliper lets you measure inside or outside dimensions over 24” (or 610mm). That’s 18 inches more than most standard calipers. In the smaller BigCal, you’ll get over 12” between the jaws. Each BigCal includes a wall-mountable Rack-It so your new tool will always be in plain sight and ready to go to work.
