To help alleviate overcrowding at Bank London Underground station Northern line trains now use a brand new southbound platform, and the old platform tunnel has been converted into a walking route.
This change means that railway passengers can benefit from easier and better access to and egress from both Northern line platforms plus passengers interchanging between the Central line and District / Circle lines at Monument station no longer need to use the Northern line platforms as interchange passages
This film also includes some historic views of the old platform filmed in 1991 and 2010
