Renewable energy and other types of sustainable infrastructure development are critical for combatting climate change and delivering future readiness. However, development of clean energy generation and other sustainable infrastructure does not automatically deliver equitable benefits to frontline communities.
This webinar showcases innovative approaches to sustainable infrastructure development that thoughtfully integrates community benefits and environmental justice outcomes, leveraging the model being used by Microsoft for achieving its renewable energy commitment with support from WSP's Sustainability, Energy and Climate Change team.
Individuals involved in sustainable development projects, corporate sustainability initiatives, or community engagement will learn about new contracting mechanisms, approaches to community involvement, and evaluation tools to optimize development for community benefit.
