eDNA has transformed how we detect species, but where are we in terms of uptake, what are the current limitations to this tool and what does the future look like?

WSP and Naturemetrics will provide an overview of this exciting landscape, using case studies to demonstrate how sampling design can overcome many existing limitations, how eDNA has informed various projects from soil health, why species barcoding is important, and what eDNA is doing for freshwater and marine ecosystem assessments.

The final section will look at the frontiers of eDNA tech, such as sampling air, remote sampling and infield species detections.
