In this webinar, we present a development and optimization project that utilizes sensor technology equipped with IoT modems. We use sensors with modems in connection with pump tests, where we monitor the water level online in the wells. However, this data must be processed before the result can be visualized. By using the technology behind IoT (Internet of Things), we are able to make data dynamic and continuously provide the desired information to optimize pumping activities.
We have developed a program that can process data displayed on a server and then interpolate the data in order to obtain a map showing groundwater level. This map is able to run in a 2D particle tracking model and thus be dynamic, and continuously updated. By receiving "live" data set from the sensors, we are able to adjust and optimize pump performance.
This webinar is for anyone working with groundwater e.g. pumping tests, groundwater lowering or remediation of groundwater pollution.
Presenters:
Andreas Sahyoun Sørensen, Experienced Environmental Engineer, WSP in Denmark
Bertil Ben Carlson, Principal Environmental Engineer, WSP in Denmark
