Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is developing an open source, National Transport Network model, enabling end users to analyse data across the full New Zealand transport system, including roads, rail, ferry, public transport routes, bike lanes, pedestrian pathways and associated restrictions. WSP are leading the development and implementation of this model.
In this webinar we will discuss the development and implementation process, highlighting both technical features (use of ESRI and FME workflows) and the engagement aspects that have enabled project success. Through a selection of use cases, this presentation will also illustrate how the network model will empower decision makers across our transport sector and pose the question to attendees on how else can we leverage this type of a model?
This webinar is for transportation network owners and operators, asset managers, planners, geospatial analysts, data managers, stakeholder engagement specialists – this project has a broad audience base and could be of interest to anyone who is part of the infrastructure industry looking to learn about a national example of a transportation network digital transformation program.
