One of my favorite launches of 2023 was the l'Oreal matte resistance liquid lipstick line, and I was thrilled to see them expand the shade range.
I purchased Major Crush, a warm coral rose, and Fairytale Ending, a super light pinky beige.
I personally adore this formula and I find it more comfortable than a traditional liquid lipstick. It takes a few minutes to dry and fully set down, and then it becomes transfer-proof. I notice a slight smoothing effect on the lips compared to older liquid lipstick formula too. After a while it can feel a bit drying but it’s really not bad!
A HUGE plus is that it smells like vanilla! I really hope this means l’Oreal is phasing out their fruity floral scent.
The only issue I have is if you apply too much, it can get everywhere in your mouth and teeth so be sure to do the finger trick and remove excess product.
