State of Kait | $68 LIP BALM: Is it worth it? U Beauty the Plasma Lip Compound @StateofKait | Uploaded December 2023 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
Let me de-influence you: the U Beauty the Plasma Lip Compound sadly didn’t work out for me. I’ve heard rave reviews of their skincare products from my friends, so I’m definitely interested in trying more of the brand, but this product in particular doesn’t align with my preferences.
The website says:
“A transformative treatment that plumps and contours the lips with a 3D pillow-effect for natural-looking enhancement with immediate and sustained results. After a single application, expect instant locked-in hydration and visible amplification of lip color, softness and smoothness.“
Key ingredients:
Peptides
Ceramides
Alpha Hydroxy Acid
Poly-Hydroxy Acid
Salicylic Acid
Shea Butter
Beeswax
It’s a whopping $68 and it does have incredible ingredients but it’s thin and slippery and I didn’t feel like it nourished my lips or left them in better condition.
It also has a noticeable floral perfume taste, and while some of my friends can’t detect that at all, it’s very strong to me.
Overall, there are so many other lip balms I’d recommend over this. If you’re looking for a lip treatment, my favorite is the @revisionskincare youthful lip replenisher.
And if you want to see me review 54 lip balms, head to my YouTube channel for an epic deep dive video I filmed a few months ago.
Have you tried this? What do you think? Worth the $68?
*purchased by me, not PR
