This isn’t anything new, but the older I get, the more frustrated I become with the lack of transparency around plastic surgery. Middle schoolers are begging their parents for lip filler, for fuck’s sake.
I don't think we need to demand access to transparency around women's bodies, but when it comes to taking advantage of consumers and profiting off of lies - that is unacceptable to me, just like JLO's skincare line where she claimed olive oil was the source of her youthful appearance, or when Kylie Jenner claimed her lips looked bigger solely because of her lip liners.
We deserve transparency.
