2021 Hyundai Kona Production Plant in Noovice (Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech HMMC) is one of Europe's largest and most advanced auto manufacturing plants, located in Noovice in the Moravian-Silesian area of the Czech Republic. In the next 12 months, the facility expects to produce approximately 35,000 Kona Electrics. Currently, 150 Kona Electrics are produced per day.
Customers will now be able to track the projected arrival time (ETA) of their Hyundai Kona Electric. When a car is ordered, the ETA tool allows you to track it from production through delivery.
Hyundai anticipates delivering over 80,000 zero-emission vehicles to European customers in 2020, including the Kona Electric, IONIQ Electric, and NEXO fuel cell electric vehicle. Hyundai hopes to become Europe's largest provider of zero-emission automobiles by 2020 as a result of this development.
Concerning the Kona Electric
The popularity of the Kona Electric in Europe has exceeded all expectations, thanks to its powerful electric engine, long driving range, and elegant design. Since its arrival, the subcompact SUV has racked up accolades, including a spot on the WardsAuto 10 Best Engine List for 2019 and the title of Affordable Electric Car of the Year at the 2018 Auto Express New Car Awards.
At the end of 2019, the Kona Electric underwent a variety of improvements. Faster charging, state-of-the-art Blue Link networking features, and an optional built-in satellite navigation package with a 10.25-inch touch-screen display are all included in the current model. It also includes a three-phase charger that can charge the battery up to 11 kW in a record length of time. The charger works with both public AC charging stations and compatible home-based wall chargers, providing customers with the highest level of safety and flexibility when charging their electric vehicle.
