CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A new historical marker in downtown Charleston has been unveiled, shedding light on a grim chapter of the city's history related to slavery. The plaque, located at 24 Broad Street, highlights research conducted by Lauren Davila, a former College of Charleston student, at the College's Center for the Study of Slavery in Charleston.
