With Star Citizen's 3.23 build finally hitting wave 1 in the PTU. One of the newest changes that has caught my attention is the inclusion of the Squadron 42 audio for the Gladius light fighter being ported over to the PU's version.
Star Citizen tends to have a quieter but much more dynamic mix range than other games of its type. These new sounds however, are much more louder in comparison, either due to CIG's new approach to audio, or simply an oversight that will be fixed. Either way, it is exciting to see what CIG's audio team will be cooking up for the future. Not just for the venerable Gladius, but other elements such as combat and other ships as well.
