Star Citizen has some of the best sound design in the biz. From incredible sounding ambiences for locations and ships, to the epic floor shaking power of explosions and combat.
But not everything is perfect in the alpha. Cannons are some of the most powerful weapons in the game, made to rip larger ships apart. But the sound does not always reflect that.
In this video I explore, the short comings of the Behring laser cannons and try to utilize my own sound design profession to fashion something that would be more suitable for what is expected.
This video is meant to be a fun exercise as I enjoy creating these type of sound projects in SC. Indeed, if you would like to see more of these type of audio re-imaginings, be sure to check out my sound design playlist below!
