So a new report has been published in the journal PLOS One entitled "A simplified approach to measuring national gender inequality"

This report generated quite a lot of press attention, including some seriously misleading headlines dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-6564767/Men-face-discrimination-women.html

I took a look at this report and give my thoughts here. What does it really show us?
I also talk here about the Global Gender Gap Report (and allied Global Gender Gap Index) which is an oft-cited measure of gender equality and yet is often noted for a methodology which is about as balanced as a Alex Jones video.
