An 'impossible' fuel-free EM drive, for the first time has moved into the next stage and will start to peer-reviewed process where the global community will finally test the engine.

Dubbed the "impossible" engine, since many scientists says it goes against the fundamental laws of physics, was tested last year and to the astonishment of many was shown to work.

In November 2015, the E M Drive was tested by NASA who said that they removed some of the errors from earlier tests and to the world's astonishment found signals of unexplained thrust.
Proving at least to NASA, that it worked. At least in their labs.
Now in 2016 the engine will be tested more widely in an extensive peer-reviewed process by different engineering labs around the world.

Researchers say the new drive could carry passengers and their equipment to the moon in as little as four hours, or to Mars in 10 weeks.

A trip to Alpha Centauri, which would take tens of thousands of years to reach under current methods, could be reached in just 100 years. And as the thrusters are solar powered, propulsion would be generated along the way.
