Iโm trying to adjust to it all and it was just starting to make my health decline, so I basically took an unexpected break. Plus, the vid was js more difficult than I thought itโd be. โ โ Footsteps echoed off the ground, almost as loud as Lingโs heartbeat. Though not quite.
In a panicked anger, it seemed, a deafening thud screamed through the otherwise quiet air next when he slammed his fists into Kazumeโs door, demanding desperately that he open it.
He was still surprised when it actually did.
He almost didnโt recognize Kazume. With the fake blood dripping from his face, eyes only of the white sclera, and typically tied hair now hanging loose.. It was eerie.
After overcoming his initial shock (with Kazumeโs teasing as help), he finally spoke. Not much, but enough.
โYouโre running from something?โ Kazume concluded, Ling only nodding along. โHum.. Well, itโs Halloween. Iโm sure it was just some kid trying to be a jerk.โ
With a laugh, Kazume ushered Ling further into the raging party.
Where he unfortunately met another.
Kazume left to entertain his guests, leaving Ling alone with this strange.. Well, person. He asked him a few questions, commented on this and that..
Became infatuated, to Lingโs horror, of the strange blade tucked in his pocket.

โ โ A thief and a prince fell in love. Ironic, really. Theyโd met because the thief had broken in. He was caught by the prince, who couldnโt bear the sight of others being hurt by his father, the king. Letting the thief leave, he made him promise one thing; To stay far away from the castle.
But of course, only a few days later, the thief returned. He wanted to thank the prince for letting him off so easily. The prince was upset that the thief came back. He was afraid heโd get caught. It was strange how they grew fond of each other. It was strange how they became friends.
Their friendship blossomed into something much, much greater. Something much stronger, though at the same time, needed much more protection. A prince in love with a thief; Whoโd ever heard of such a thing? It was absurd. So they kept their love a secret.

He didnโt exactly mind Kazumeโs touch, but he felt too flustered to enjoy it either. Pushing the dirty blonde away, he continued to walk, brushing Kazume off. Unfortunately (or perhaps not), he followed.
Kazume continued to chat, and Ling continued to listen. After a while, they sat down, continuing to catch up. It seemed a miracle, even a blessing, to Kazume when he saw the older boy laugh. They were both glad to have the otherโs company.

-Donโt take any auโs, inspiration is fine but copying the entire au itself (other than the obvious ones, zombie, trend auโs, etc.) is not what Iโd prefer. Please, take my thoughts on this into consideration.
-Donโt be rude or start fights in comments, please donโt create long convos either.
-I (almost) always take suggestions, requests, etc. but may not have the time to do them right away.
-Haikyu!! Characters, plot, etc. all belong to Haruichi Furudate.
-I try to make characters seem as cannon as possible, but Iโm not Haruichi Furudate so I can never be 100% accurate with their actions, words, etc.
