Just catching up with you guys on some of what's going on lately behind the scenes! I have been working hard on the new channel branding and hoping to get some more time to dedicate to builds soon.
The Falcon Multirotors Featherlight is always in the back of my mind as something I can't wait to put together and fly. Going to hold off until I get the right FC to make this work =D

Just having some fun in the frigid Canadian winter! Took the 6 and the 5 with Kalman filters to do some freezestyle.")

The XT30 batteries for the babyhawk finally arrived and I cooked up a Betaflight 3.3 Hex for the babyhawk with Kalman 3.3 enabled which you can download below.
This thing flies awesome even on stock PIDs you can see a bit of propwash here and there but not bad. I will tune it once I get the change but I am super impressed with what this little 2 quad can do.
I am waiting on a set of 2.5 arms that will be arriving soon so I can get some bigger props and a little more power out of this thing. Its a great little racer but lacks a little punch for freestyle. (Running it on 4S).

To make the hex fit I had to remove some features listed below.
- NO LED SUPPORT
- NO GRAUPNER SUPPORT
- NO SMART AUDIO SUPPORT
- NO VTX CONTROL
- NO CAMERA CONTROL

I already showed you guys the maiden yesterday and that was some pretty butter smooth performance straight out of the box. This flight I am sharing today is after a mere 2 packs of tuning.. I will walk you through it because it was so dead simple.
First Pack - Maiden...
Second Pack - Cranked P gains to 60 on Pitch and Roll, Cranked I to 60 and dropped D to 28.
Third Pack - Dropped P by 2 points per axis, dropped D by 1 point per axis..
And that was it.. the quad was locked, loaded and buttery smooth. It felt great to fly this quad, if I tweak it just a little bit more I am sure I can get rid of some of the tiny flutters, but those only happen at the most extreme of direction changes.
Anyway... I am dead set convinced that the motion coprocessor architecture that HELIO is bringing to the table is going to be the future of quads. They are not looking to be the sole manufacturer of the technology either, they are looking to license this to other OEMs. I guarantee you will be seeing more of this type of FC in the near future.")

I have been having a blast with the Clearview - probably the best upgrade I have made all year by far. It just gives you such a solid clean video link that its kind of amazing.
Waiting to get some good directional antennas to really boost the range on these.")

Ive been getting busier and busier as the business starts to take off so its been really tough for me to bring you guys build & reviews like I used to. Instead we will have to make do with reviews.
I will still be bringing you guys info on Betaflight 3.3 and the BlHeli_32 ESCs in straight forward terms as per usual. Personally I just cant wait for nice weather so I can get out and rip some more!")
