So for some reason, RATP decided to start placing LTs on the 111, taken from PVR cuts of other LT allocated routes. LTs are also apparently being trialled on routes H32/H98, but only time will tell whether they will pass or not.
Despite the 111 being a nightmare of a route, this run wasn't that bad, besides annoying passengers of course, which prevented me from filming the driver hitting 40mph. If you want to ride and/or record this route, I'd say the best parts are between Heathrow Central and The Avenue, and between Hampton Station and Wood Street.
Also, ignore any obnoxious music in the background if you can hear it. I couldn't be asked to get this back to Heathrow, so you'll have to deal with it unfortunately.
London bus route 111 is operated by RATP Group: London United from their Hounslow (AV) garage, allocated with Scania Omnicity N230UD (SP) and Wright New Routemasters (LT). Route 111 will pass to Abellio London from the 30th of April 2022, operating from their Fulwell (TF) garage using most likely E400 EV's.
