Last Sunday, three HT's were sent out on route 264 very late into the day. They stayed on throughout the night, and everyone thought that it was a one time thing, until it started happening every night, which meant that it was a new allocation. Apparently it's part of TFL's scheme to make every night route use hybrid or electric buses.

Here is the full journey of route 264's night service towards Tooting, filmed on HT19 from the 405. This driver was quite fast, and the bus regened a lot.

London bus route 264 is operated by Arriva London South from their Croydon (TC), allocated with Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 Tridents (T) and VDL DB300 Wright Gemini 2's (DW).
