Bruno Maçães is a Portuguese journalist, politician, consultant, and author. He is a former Secretary of State for European Affairs in Portugal, a columnist for New Statesman, and he advises some of the largest companies in the world on geopolitics and technology. He has just taken over a leading consultancy firm in Asia, the Diplomat Risk Intelligence, and is a senior adviser at Flint Global, one of the leading London consultancies. Maçães appears on TV news networks around the world, and is the author of four previous books, including The Dawn of Eurasia, and Geopolitics for the End Time.
Samanth Subramanian is a writer for The Guardian, The New Yorker, and other publications. His upcoming book, The Web Beneath the Waves, examines the battles to control the world's undersea data cables. His previous book, A Dominant Character, was one of the New York Times' Top 100 Books of 2020.
Pragya Tiwari is a writer and journalist. She has led publications such as Vice and Tehelka, founded publications such as The Indian History Collective and The Big Indian Picture, and written on policy, politics and culture across national and international publications. She currently runs Oijo, a culture and communications consultancy, co-hosts 'The India Briefing' podcast and is working on a book on nationalism and modernity.
