In this step-by-step tutorial, I’ll show you exactly how to make your own 3D printed LinkedIn badge — the same one people kept scanning at my last conference.

This tag lets others connect with you instantly by scanning your LinkedIn QR code — no app searching or business cards required.

I’m printing on a Bambu P1S with AMS, using white PLA for the base and black PLA for the text, but you can use any two contrasting colors you like.

You’ll learn how to:

Generate your own LinkedIn QR code STL
Replace my placeholder QR code in the model
Add your name and customize the design
Slice, print, and test your finished tag

The model is available for free on MakerWorld (commercial use allowed): makerworld.com/en/models/1889096-linkedin-qr-code-tag-personalized-badge#profileId-2023395

Timecodes:
0:00 – Intro
1:53 – Create the QR Code
2:15 – Download the Model and Modify
3:31 – Test the QR Code Before You Print
3:57 – Two-Line Name Version
5:09 – Scanning My Badges
5:27 – Outro
