In this tutorial, I show you how to set up a functional headless environment using Raspberry Pi OS Lite and Raspberry Pi Connect Lite. This project is perfect for those who want a "terminal only" experience on a Raspberry Pi 3, 4, or 5 without the need for a separate monitor, mouse, keyboard, or even knowing the device's IP address.
One of the most useful parts of this setup is the browser-based access. You will see exactly how to use the Raspberry Pi Imager to configure your WiFi, enable SSH, and link your device to a Raspberry Pi Connect account before you even plug it in. Once configured, you can access your Pi’s terminal from any web browser, even if you are on a different network.
