In an awe inspiring tribute to the late Prince Rogers Nelson 1999 singers gathered on May 2nd in Toronto at Massey Hall performing the 1984 smash hit "When Doves Cry".
German born musician and cover artist NEO is a long-standing, die-hard Prince fan who was heavily influenced by the Minnesota genius back in 1979 when Prince released his first million-seller I Wanna Be Your Lover.
After discovering the above mentioned video on Youtube he tried to contact the men behind the CHOIR!CHOIR!CHOIR! project but so far to no avail. However, he was so inspired by the huge sound of 2000 voices chanting and shouting out Prince's anthem against domestic violence that he quickly added a soft bossa nova rhythm, percussion, bass, piano, strings and finally lead vocals.
This video is still without the official consent from CHOIR!CHOIR!CHOIR! but perhaps it will soon gain the approval of Youtube viewers and listeners.
