When it comes to the best-value saline refill packets, I think you can't go wrong with any of these 3 brands. I picked these because I think they are all great value. That being said, the NeilMed brand of saline packets is probably my favorite. The shape of the NeilMed packets makes them very easy to pour out.
In addition to the fact that nasal rinses moisturize the inside of your nose, they also help remove debris and excess mucus and make your nasal passage feel more clear, making it easier to breathe.
You can use all three of these brands of saline nasal rinses in any type of neti pot or sinus rinse bottle. Each packet should be mixed with 8 ounces of filtered or distilled water to create an isotonic solution. An isotonic solution is one that is about equal to the saline content of the human body.
If you want an extra-strong nasal rinse, you can use 2 packets in 8 ounces of water. This creates a hypertonic solution. A hypertonic solution contains a higher concentration of saline than the human body. This concentration might burn a little, but it will also remove a little more mucus.
