In this Rite Aid Sinus Wash review, I share how to do a saline nasal flush using the Rite Aid sinus wash refill packets.

I've been doing saline nasal flushes for 7 years or so now, and I think they are a great habit.

One of the benefits of saline nasal irrigation is how soft it makes your nose feel on the inside. Saline nasal rinses are known for removing excess mucus and debris from your nasal passage and generally promoting nasal health.

You can create an isotonic or hypertonic solution with these Rite Aid sinus wash salts. An isotonic solution is one that has about the same amount of saline concentration as your body, and a hypertonic solution is one where the saline concentration is higher than that of the human body.

An isotonic solution is achieved by adding one of the Rite Aid saline packets to 8 ounces of water. It's recommended that you use filtered water, distilled water, or boiled water. If you use boiled water, be sure to cool it to room temperature before using it for your nasal rinse.

A hypertonic solution will feel a little uncomfortable for some people, but it will remove more mucus, and it doesn't feel too bad. You achieve the hypertonic solution by adding 2 or more packets to 8 ounces of water. You probably don't want to use more than two packets at a time. You can use a neti pot or any nasal saline rinse bottle with these saline packets.

These saline packets contain a mix of 700 mg sodium bicarbonate and 2300 mg sodium chloride.

I purchased these Rite Aid saline nasal wash packets because I think they are a great value.

I hope my Rite Aid saline refill packets review helps you decide whether or not this brand of saline nasal wash is a good choice for you.
