Neighbors are pushing for a safer road after Columbus police said a deadly crash took the life of 19-year-old Aaden Elswick.
Police said Elswick was a passenger in a Honda Civic attempting to take a left on Roberts Road onto Potts Place in Columbus’s Far West Side near Hilliard and cut off a SUV.
It happened around 11pm Friday night.
“I felt this loud boom. I was either like it was a really big accident or a transformer blew or something, because the reverberation was very intense,” said Markandeya Bradley, a resident.
Police said Elswick was thrown from the car during the crash and rushed to Riverside Hospital, where he died.
