Columbus city leaders are expected to announce an expansion of a program aimed at investigating non-deadly shootings.

Mayor Andrew Ginther will announce the expansion of the city’s Non-Fatal Shooting Team, a program focused on investigating non-fatal shootings.

In 2025, after a pilot program, the city made the Non-Fatal Shooting Team permanent in Zone 6, which includes South Linden and Milo-Grogan.

Now, Ginther and Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant will announce an expansion to another part of the city.
