I'm always surprised about how "real" they tried to make this comic-esque fantasy game. I mean, it wouldn't exactly be a surprise if this was about real life, because .... duh, of course windmills turn faster or slower depending on the wind.
But someone at Nintendo took the time and effort to make the windmills match the actual in-game wind speed, even tho the vast majority of players would never even notice and it doesn't have any kind of actual use for gameplay. It's just there to make the world of Hyrule feel more alive and natural.
