The NBA All-Star Game in NBA 2K3 at the Palace of Auburn Hills which never hosted the event. This is the PS2 version. This was the last NBA 2K game where players wear their team uniforms at the All-Star Game as they begin wearing special uniforms for the event beginning with the following game.
The last time Detroit hosted the NBA All-Star Game was in 1979 at the Pontiac Silverdome which did not host the NCAA Final Four in college basketball, but it did host games of the Midwest Regional round in the Division I men's basketball tournament in 1988 & 1991.
