The San Diego Toreros at Washington Huskies at the Hec Edmundson Pavilion in Seattle with named rosters in NCAA College Basketball 2K3 on the PS2. Both colleges are based in cities that got an NBA expansion team in 1967 which were the San Diego Rockets and the Seattle SuperSonics. The San Diego Rockets moved to Houston in 1971 and became the Houston Rockets, but it would've been so much better in 2008 if the Seattle SuperSonics hadn't relocated at all. At least Seattle still has college basketball in the city with teams like the Seattle Redhawks and the Washington Huskies so that makes up for that. The city hosted the NCAA Final Four in Division I men's basketball five times with Hec Edmundson Pavilion hosting it in 1949 & 1952 while the Kingdome hosted it in 1984, 1989 and 1995. Houston has also hosted the NCAA Final Four at the Astrodome and NRG Stadium, both of which have hosted an NFL team. San Diego hosted the Final Four at the San Diego Sports Arena in 1975. That means, both cities that got an NBA expansion team in 1967 hosted the NCAA Final Four. UCLA won the Final Four in both cities as they won the only Final Four in San Diego.
