Learn how to make Nariyal Ka Ladoo (Coconut Ladoo) simply delicious recipe by Manjula

Ingredients:
2 cups freshly grated coconut, I am using frozen grated coconut, easily available in Indian grocery stores
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon coconut powder for garnishing, optional

Instructions:
-In a non-stick frying pan, combine cream, milk, coconut, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
-Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and let it cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent browning on the sides.
-Lower the heat to medium-low and stir continually until the mixture reaches a soft dough consistency, about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
-Transfer the mixture to a plate and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then, divide into 12 equal parts and shape into round balls.
-Optionally, to make burfi, pour the coconut mix onto a flat plate and press it half-inch thick into a square shape. Let it sit for 5-6 hours before cutting it into squares.
