What kind of Nature Play experience would you like to see at the Zoo?
Soon, we’ll be designing a new play experience for you and your tamariki to enjoy. Our aim is to move away from a traditional playground, to provide a play space where all ages and abilities connect, explore, and draw from the natural world.
We have developed an online survey so we can understand what you’d like to see designed and implemented as part of this nature-focused project. As Jamine explains in our video, this could include things like streams, bridges, platforms – we encourage you to think outside of the box!
