On October 24th, 2025, a heavily unshaven man challenged himself to write a spooky metal song by Halloween. What you're about to hear was the result...
Hey guys! I suppose the top of the description pretty much says it all... After Rob Scallon and Andrew Huang put out the most recent First of October album (it's great, go listen to it, they recorded it in a guitar store, it was nuts), I was inspired to try writing a Halloween-themed metal song of my own. Since by that point in time, Halloween wasn't very far away, I thought it'd be a fun challenge to not only do that, but also record and edit an accompanying video for it, and my friend Adam even got Bryan, a guitarist who worked with his band ArediA, to do a guest solo in the song!
Special thanks to my friend from the AudioDiscovery YouTube channel (who mixed my Doom: The Dark Ages song) for mixing this song, and to my friend Oliver for helping me film the music video!
