Five Nights at Treasure Island is finally finished!
Treasure Island has been through development hell and back, however it was recently acquired by a team called Radiance Team, and they were able to finish the game. The new version of the game is the definitive FNATI experience, and I highly recommend it.
While I have a video essay in the works about the full story of FNATI to celebrate its completion, this is something I decided to put out now since that video likely won't be finished until maybe February, or late January if I'm lucky.
INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SONG:
I first started writing this song back in November before the game actually came out, but it took me a while to actually finish it because I wasn't that happy with how the vocals were turning out.
I was somewhat inspired by the title track of Black Sabbath's debut album, but the general orchestral theme of the song was inspired by The Trial by Pink Floyd, from their album "The Wall".
Sorry about the length of the song, but if I would've tried to make it shorter, it likely would have taken away from the song.
I understand not many people may like this song; along with my subpar songwriting skills and singing, there's also the style of the song. But I thought a dark, sinister orchestral metal song would fit the new direction FNATI was taken in.
If you want to leave a comment about how "bad" the song is, do me a favor, and leave some actual constructive criticism. Tell me what I did wrong and what I did well, that way I can work on improving in the future. If you're just going to be toxic, you're not welcome here. Sorry.
The song is sung by two separate parties; the security guard, and the Toons. The distorted vocals/screaming vocals are the Toons, and the clean vocals are the guard. Use that, along with the lyric video's fonts and colored text to tell them apart.
