I chatted with Mini Tyrrell who drives the number 14 RAM for Kaulig Racing and he told me he was headed out after our interview to do some work in the SIM.
That begged the question, what is the status of the SIM that Kaulig Racing and the Ram Truck program has access to? It comes down to the engineering firm that RAM and Kaulig Racing partnered with for the Truck Program.
Pratt Miller is a well known engineering firm, historically working with GM and Hendrick Motorsports in NASCAR. I learned earlier in the year that Pratt Miller was working with the Ram Program and Tyrrell says they now have nice SIM data up and running for the truck program that is getting better by the week.
Pratt Miller's social media feed has pictures of its Driver-in-the-Loop simulator that was built in 2024 and a few pictures show a racing corvette based platform. A few of the posts from January link Kaulig Racing and the Ram Program with Pratt Miller and the DiL Sim.
