The NASCAR antitrust trial started this week with NASCAR facing off against 23XI racing and Front Row Motorsports in a trial that may change the sport as we know it. The allegations are that NASCAR is a monopoly and can use that to its financial advantage when choosing how much revenue to share with the race teams. The race teams are fighting for more revenue and a permanent status in the Charter System that lays out all the financial and legal details that the teams operate under. Peter Stratta from TSJ Sports joined me on Racing Report to set the stage for what this lawsuit and trial is trying to accomplish.
