Now have the next 3 races up through the penultimate race recorded & edited, leaving just the finale which I'll of course be getting done very soon. Last race at Kansas we got completely snakebit by the most poorly timed caution ever after Kenseth spun right in front of us just after making our final pit stop when by that point we were a lap down. Having to take a wave around to get back on the lead lap and only having 5 laps to get as many spots back as possible starting from 25th. In the end I could only claw my way back to 15th before time ran out, marking our third worst finish all season. Dropping us down to an 87 point lead in the Sprint Cup standings, as our championship rival Dale Jr ended up winning the race. It's a shame as not surprisingly we had the car to beat.
Now we return to Martinsville where I'm gonna do something I haven't done all season regarding tracks with 2 dates on the schedule. I'm using the same experimental test setup that I used the first time, because that's just how much I loved using it. It's main strength is when your the leader on restarts with how far ahead you jump in front of the field heading to turn 1. So if we can get out front, we'll be hard to beat as long as we don't end up beating ourselves. And if we're gonna lock up the championship 2 races early like I hope to, then we need to return back to form here and not have another finish like Kansas.
