NASA’s 2026 Lunabotics Challenge is here!

Teams from U.S. colleges, universities, and technical/vocational schools have until Sept. 29 to apply to take part in this year’s challenge to design and build autonomous and remote-controlled robots to navigate the lunar surface in support of the Artemis program.

Join the more than 7,000 students who have participated in Lunabotics on-site or at their schools and help as NASA establishes a long-term presence on the Moon and prepares for future science and exploration of Mars.
