This week in 2022, the Exploration Ground Systems Landing and Recovery team and partners with the Department of Defense recovered the Artemis II Orion spacecraft in the Pacific Ocean.

Since then, teams and the Artemis II astronauts conducted Underway Recovery Test 11, the eleventh of a series of tests, where they practiced extracting crew and recovering Orion.

As teams continue to prepare for subsequent tests and Artemis II recovery, meet some of the team who will accomplish these history-making tasks.
