NASA invites interested government and commercial organizations to submit ideas for simulated space environment testing at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, utilizing the spaceport’s Launch Equipment Test Facility (LETF). The LETF is designed to test all physical aspects of a launch vehicle’s performance, from components to loads to full-scale systems probes involving cryogenic commodities. NASA used the LETF to perfect the launch technology for every space vehicle the agency has used since the Apollo Program, including the Space Shuttle and the Space Launch System designed to return Americans to the Moon under the Artemis campaign. Interested parties are encouraged to submit ideas by July 11, 2025, to NASA’s Request For Information (RFI) on SAM.gov.
