A programmable infrared remote control receiver unit for Nakamichi cassette decks (RM-5 replacement). It supports the basic functions: play, stop, pause, fast forward, rewind, record and reverse. Based on an ESP8266 microcontroller. It connects to the deck with an 8 pin DIN plug.

Edit: I made a new faceplate using a CNC router and laser engraver so it looks nice and tidy now (it is in the thumbnail).

It supports these Nakamichi decks:
- Dragon, RX-303/505, CR-2, CR-3, CR-4
- (Models with power on the Reverse pin): 580, 580M, 581, 581Z, 582, 582Z,
660ZX, 670ZX, 680, 680ZX, 681ZX, 682ZX, 700ZXE, 700ZXL, 1000ZXL, BX-300, CR-5, CR-7, LX-3, LX-5, MR-1, ZX-5, ZX-7, ZX-9
