In search of Myanus, Oklahoma. An expedition off the beaten trail to explore a culture hidden from mainstream America for far too long. This was shot as a parody of searching for lost cultures when I worked for Nat Geo to be shown only to friends at the office, but when The Tiger King became a hit Netflix show I remembered that Joe Exotic, who at the time said he was some kind of local law enforcement, appeared in my story as the sheriff of Myanus. This was before he was known as Joe Exotic. Anyway I decided to dig this video out of the files and share it.
